1 - Ryan: Where did you go yesterday? Sonia: I went to the mall. Ryan: Où es-tu allée hier? Sonia: Je suis allée au centre commercial.
2 - Ryan: Did you buy anything? Sonia: Yes, I bought a new shirt. Ryan: As-tu acheté quelque chose? Sonia: Oui, j’ai acheté un nouveau chemisier.
3 - Ryan: Who did you see? Sonia: I met my friend. Ryan: Qui as-tu vu? Sonia: J’ai rencontré mon amie.
4 - Ryan: What did you do last night? Sonia: I just stayed home and took it easy. And you? Ryan: Qu’as-tu fait hier soir? Sonia: Je suis restée à la maison et j’ai pris du repos. Et toi?
5 - Ryan: I went to the park and played football. Sonia: Oh, did you win? Ryan: Je suis allé au parc et j’ai joué au football. Sonia: Oh, avez-vous gagné?
6 - Ryan: Yeah, we won! I was so happy. Sonia: Oh, I am glad you had a good time. Ryan: Ouais, nous avons gagné! J’étais tellement heureux. Sonia: Oh, je suis contente que tu aies passé un bon moment.
7 - Ryan: I hurt my ankle though, so it wasn’t all perfect. Sonia: Well, at least you won! Ryan: Mais je me suis blessé à la cheville, donc ce n’était pas parfait. Sonia: Eh bien, au moins vous avez gagné!
8 - Ryan: How was your trip to Brazil? Sonia: It was wonderful. I had such a great time. Ryan: Comment était votre voyage au Brésil? Sonia: C’était merveilleux. J’ai passé un si bon moment.
9 - Ryan: How was the food? Sonia: It was all so good. I ate so much. I think I put on some weight. Ryan: Comment était la nourriture? Sonia: C’était tout si bon. J’ai tellement mangé. Je pense que j’ai pris du poids.
10 - Ryan: What did you do there? Sonia: Well, we spent a lot of time at the beach, but we also went out at night. Ryan: Qu’avez-vous fait là-bas? Sonia: Eh bien, nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à la plage, mais nous sommes également sortis le soir.
11 - Ryan: I heard the nightlife there is really good. Sonia: It is! We had so much fun! Ryan: J’ai entendu dire que la vie nocturne est très agréable là-bas. Sonia: C’est vrai! Nous nous sommes tellement amusés!
12 - Ryan: What did you do over the weekend? Sonia: I met some friends for dinner. Ryan: Qu’avez-vous fait le week-end dernier? Sonia: J’ai rencontré des amis pour dîner.
13 - Ryan: Oh, where did you go? Sonia: We ate at the new pizza place near the station. Ryan: Oh, où êtes-vous allés? Sonia: Nous avons mangé dans la nouvelle pizzeria près de la gare.
14 - Ryan: Oh, I went there last week. I really liked it. Sonia: So did we. What did you eat? Ryan: Oh, j’y suis allé la semaine dernière. J’ai vraiment aimé. Sonia: Nous aussi. Qu’as-tu mangé?
15 - Ryan: We tried the pan style pizza. It was so good. Sonia: : I didn’t try that, but I heard it was really good. Ryan: Nous avons essayé la pizza à la poêle. C’était tellement bon. Sonia: Je n’ai pas essayé ça, mais j’ai entendu dire que c’était vraiment bon.
16 - Ryan: Yeah, my friend told me to try it. He said it was good and he was right. Sonia: I’ll try it next time. Ryan: Oui, mon ami m’a dit d’essayer. Il a dit que c’était bon et il avait raison. Sonia: Je vais essayer la prochaine fois.
17 - Ryan: What did you do over the holidays? Sonia: Not much. I bought a new car, though. Ryan: Qu’as-tu fait pendant les vacances? Sonia: Pas grand-chose. J’ai acheté une nouvelle voiture, cependant.
18 - Ryan: Really, what did you buy? Sonia: I bought a new Lexus. It is so nice. Ryan: Vraiment, qu’as-tu acheté? Sonia: J’ai acheté une nouvelle Lexus. C’est tellement sympa.
19 - Ryan: Can I ask? How much did you pay for it? Sonia: It cost about 50,000 dollars. I took out a loan though. Ryan: Puis-je demander? Combien l'as-tu payée Sonia: Cela m'a coûté environ 50 000 dollars. J’ai cependant contracté un prêt.
20 - Ryan: Wow, you paid a lot! I think I spent about 5,000 pounds for my car, but I bought it used. Sonia: : Yeah, I really wanted a new car. I think I got what I paid for though. Ryan: Wow, tu as payé cher! Je pense avoir dépensé environ 5 000 livres pour ma voiture, mais je l’ai achetée d’occasion. Sonia: Oui, je voulais vraiment une voiture neuve. Je pense que j’ai eu ce pour quoi j’ai payé.
